Tragedy struck in Pathanamthitta as 25-year-old Siji M Biji met a tragic end when her Scooter overturned beneath a culvert on the Muttumon-Cherukolpuzha road near the Pamba Irrigation Project.

The somber incident occurred on a Sunday night, with Siji losing her life at Arun’s Cottage, Mallappally. Following an evening meal at her husband’s parents’ house around 9 pm, her scooter tragically fell into a culvert below the water bridge while en route to her residence.

Siji and her scooter lay undiscovered for hours until passersby in a car noticed a leg protruding near the culvert around 1 o’clock in the morning. Despite swift efforts to rush her to the district hospital, Siji succumbed to her injuries.
