Former U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann, now leading South Korea, expressed mixed emotions about the match. He acknowledged the intensity and admitted, “After we got the lead, we were too slow.”

Klinsmann, a World Cup winner in 1990, found satisfaction in the second-half fightback, stating, “We were in control. We created enough chances to win this game. Still, a tie is fine at the end of the day.”

However, Jordan responded with determination, and Park Yong-woo’s own goal after 37 minutes leveled the playing field. Jordan took the lead in first-half stoppage time with Yazan Al-Naimat’s goal.

The turning point came in the first minute of second-half stoppage time when Son Heung-min’s assist led to an own goal by Yazan Al-Arab, salvaging a draw for South Korea.

In Group E’s other match, Bahrain secured a 1-0 victory against Malaysia, placing them third with three points. Ali Madan’s fifth-minute goal in second-half stoppage time left Malaysia without points.
