Pakistan is reeling from a storm of uncertainty as shocking allegations emerge claiming that former Prime Minister and cricket legend Imran Khan has been killed inside prison. Khan, who has been held in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi since 2023, is reportedly dead — a claim that has spread like wildfire across social media. The situation escalated further after the Balochistan Rebel group made a similar allegation on X, adding a new layer of seriousness to the unfolding controversy.

So far, the Pakistani government has not released any official statement regarding these claims. However, the Balochistan Rebel group alleged that Army Chief Asim Munir and the ISI were responsible for secretly eliminating Imran Khan — a claim that echoes across multiple media reports.
“If this is true, it marks the collapse of Pakistan’s last remaining legitimacy. It would be the moment the true face of the state is revealed,” the ministry wrote in its post.

Imran Khan has been imprisoned since August 2023 in connection with various cases. According to his family, no one has been allowed to meet him for months, raising deep concerns about his safety. On Tuesday, his three sisters — Noreen Khan , Aleema Khan , and Uzma Khan — arrived at the jail, but even they were denied permission to meet their brother.

Outside the jail, PTI workers gathered in protest, standing in solidarity with Khan’s family. However, police used force to disperse both the supporters and the sisters. In an emotional accusation, the sisters said:
“The police assaulted us… They are clearly hiding something big.”
